Refugee Emergency Operations

Providing vital food, housing, healthcare, transportation, and social services

Humanitarian Assistance

SOSi supports the U.S. government in managing the direct care and placement of migrants encountered at the U.S. border. We work tirelessly to provide these individuals with a comfortable and supportive environment while leading efforts to reunite unaccompanied children with family members or other suitable sponsors in the U.S. as quickly and safely as possible. SOSi’s industry-leading program management, data management and integration, logistics, facility operations, and professional language services capabilities have been critical to the U.S border mission.

SOSi has developed standard operating procedures to provide all aspects of direct care and administrative support to individuals encountered along the U.S. border for the U.S government.

Interpreter Services

SOSi’s cadre of highly skilled and proficient linguists has proven to be a valuable asset for immigrant care and reunification efforts. As the professional language services provider for the Department of Justice’s (DoJ) Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), our interpreters are acutely familiar with the legal and criminal justice system procedures that many immigrants in our care will soon be entering. Our extensive network of language professionals provides native and near-native interpretation and translation skills in more than 200 languages to support immigration court hearings at detained and non-detained facilities throughout the United States.

Facility Operations

SOSi’s experience managing, sustaining, and protecting critical infrastructure in contingency environments has benefited U.S. government agencies supporting U.S. border humanitarian operations. Our experience working in complex, operationally demanding environments supporting U.S. embassies, government facilities, and military bases enabled our experienced personnel to adapt their processes and procedures for the border mission quickly. We established subcontracts to rapidly stand up necessary life support, education, local transportation, and entertainment services. SOSi worked directly with vendors to manage supply inventory, expedite delivery times, reduce costs, minimize waste, and mitigate supply disruptions.
