RESTON, VA (October 30, 2017) – SOSi International LLC (SOSi) announced today the selection of Frank Helmick, Senior Vice President for Mission Solutions Group to serve on the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) Advisory Board, tasked with helping develop the strategic vision of the organization.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., ISOA is a global partnership of private sector and nongovernmental organizations providing critical services in fragile environments worldwide. The ISOA Advisory Council works closely with executive staff and ISOA’s board of directors to create and guide implementation of its strategic vision, ensuring ISOA represents the needs of its member organizations.
Lieutenant General (Ret.) Frank Helmick joined SOSi in 2012 after a distinguished 36-year military career in the U.S. Army, which included serving as the Commanding General of America’s only Airborne Corps (the XVIII Airborne Corps) and the nation’s largest military installation – Fort Bragg. He also served as the Deputy Commanding General for Operations with United States Forces – Iraq, and commanded the Multi-National Security Transition Command – Iraq and the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO) Training Mission – Iraq.
Mr. Helmick leads SOSi’s Mission Solutions Group division, which provides logistics and base operations support to clients working in difficult places around the globe. The company’s proven record of success includes operating facilities in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Qatar; and providing support to the U.S. military and coalition forces, the U.S. Department of State and commercial clients.
In 2017, SOSi was honored by ISOA at its annual awards ceremony as a Corporate Achievement Award recipient, recognizing the company’s exceptional service in the field of contingency operations.
