Reston, VA — December 17, 2024 — SOSi announced today the promotion of Mike Franz to Chief Operating Officer; Beth Caldera to Vice President, Procurement and Contracts; and Wendy Mills to Vice President, Security.
These promotions recognize the outstanding achievements of three functional business leaders and underscore SOSi’s commitment to cultivating internal talent and investing in employee professional development.
Mike Franz was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Since joining SOSi nearly a decade ago, he has served as both a business unit and growth leader and, most recently, as Senior Vice President for Corporate Operations, providing cross-departmental oversight to optimize capabilities, technology, talent, and funding across the business while implementing effective strategies that drove performance and profitability.
Beth Caldera assumes full responsibility for the company’s contracts and procurement department, which includes subcontracts, compliance, and contract risk management. Over the past two years, Caldera has overseen numerous complex government contract engagements, ensuring compliance with government regulations and alignment with SOSi’s overall business strategy.
Wendy Mills oversees the development and enforcement of corporate security policies to protect the company’s assets and ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Intelligence Community regulations. Her promotion is a testament to her success in navigating rigorous government audits and evaluations, implementing best practices into security processes and procedures, and consistently strengthening SOSi’s security posture.
