RESTON, Va. (April 2, 2018) – SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced today its participation in the U.S. Army Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program. The U.S. Army and SOSi will sign a formal partnership agreement on April 10, 2018 during a ceremony to be held at SOSi’s corporate headquarters.
The PaYS Program represents a strategic partnership between the U.S. Army, private industry, academia, and state and local governments. It guarantees soldiers job interviews for employment after they leave the service, connecting them with employers that value the maturity, skills, discipline, and work ethic that service members offer.
Since the PaYS Program was first established in 2000, the Army has formed partnerships with more than 600 potential employers. It is part of a long-term U.S. Army effort to help bridge the gap between soldiers looking to develop their careers and businesses looking for skilled talent.
“SOSi actively hires military veterans,” said Frank Helmick, SOSi Senior Vice President. “As an Army veteran myself, I understand firsthand that the transition is not easy, but the values, leadership experience and technical skills our service members gain during their military careers add immediate value to the private sector.”
