(August 7, 2017) – SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced today the hiring of Janet Waldron as its Vice President for Human Resources.
Waldron has more than 20 years of human resources experience, and 15 years of experience in the government contracting industry. She joined SOSi from Chenega Corporation, where she served as the Senior Director of Human Resources for more than 6,000 employees and 50 subsidiary companies worldwide. She also previously served as Director of Human Resources for The Tatitlek Corporation, Human Resources Manager for CH2M Hill, and Director of Human Resources for Harbor Enterprises Inc. / North 60 Petroleum.
She was appointed by the Governor of Alaska to serve on the Worker’s Compensation Board of Directors and was named to the ‘Top 40 under 40 Alaska’ list by the Alaska Journal of Commerce. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities from the University of Alaska and is an accomplished artist and competitive riflewoman, who won an NCAA Division I Rifle Championship with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
