Joint Venture ‘Global Threat Reduction’ One of Nine Large Businesses Selected for $900 Million Award by the U.S. Air Force
RESTON, Va. (Feb. 5) – SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced the selection of its joint venture, Global Threat Reduction LLC, for the U.S. Air Force’s Counter Narcotics and Global Threats (CN>) Operation and Logistics Support contract. The Global Threat Reduction joint venture was selected as one of nine large businesses awarded a nine-year; $975 million contract to provide global logistics support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal, state and local agencies in support of national security missions.
Under CN>, SOSi and Final Mile Logistics will provide services, equipment, material, and minor construction services to help detect, deter, disrupt, degrade, and defeat national security threats posed by illegal drugs, trafficking, piracy, transnational organized crime and threat finance networks. Work will be performed in the U.S. and across the globe.

SOSi and Atlanta-based Final Mile Logistics formed the Global Threat Reduction joint venture specifically for the CN> contract. The Joint Venture’s offices will be located in SOSi’s corporate office in Reston, VA.
