Bill Turk and Taylor Johnson Join Company’s Reston Headquarters Staff
RESTON, VA (Oct. 3, 2016) – SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced today the expansion of its in-house legal team. The company hired Bill Turk, former Vice President and General Counsel of OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation, a protective services firm based in Chantilly, VA, and Taylor Johnson, former Deputy General Counsel at Blackbird Technologies, Inc. a cybersecurity company that was acquired by Raytheon in 2014.
Turk brings 30 years of legal and contracting experience to the SOSi legal team. In addition to spending 18 years at OMNIPLEX, he served as Assistant General Counsel of I-Net, Inc. During his tenure with OMNIPLEX, the company grew from $40 to $150 million in revenue. His responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions (M&A), contract negotiations, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
Turk holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the George Mason University School of Law, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the College of William and Mary, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from James Madison University. He is a member of the Virginia and D.C. Bar Associations.
Johnson served as Blackbird’s Deputy General Counsel for eight years. He holds a Juris Doctor Degree from George Mason University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the Virginia Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, Johnson worked as a software consultant at Microstrategy, Inc. and Oracle Corporation.
