SOSi CEO Nominated as 2014 Fairfax Chamber GOVCON Executive of the Year

RESTON, Va. (September 4, 2014) – The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (Fairfax Chamber) and Professional Services Council (PSC) announced Julian Setian is one of five finalists being considered for its Executive of the Year Award in the $75-300 million company category. The winner of this award will be recognized at the 12th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor (GOVCON) Awards™ during a gala dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner on November 13, 2014.

Presented annually, the GOVCON awards honor the leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence of the individuals and businesses in the region’s government contracting sector. They are widely viewed as the premier awards event for the Washington area government contracting community. “I’m very humbled to note that I am being recognized for the many successes and phenomenal growth that SOSi has accomplished in the past year,” Setian said.

Jim Corcoran, Fairfax Chamber president and CEO noted the finalists’ selections are, “a highly competitive process and those that emerge as finalists have a great deal to be proud of.”

“As our industry and government enter a new market era, these firms and executives are on the cutting edge, supporting the government’s missions in new, exciting and effective ways,” said PSC President and CEO Stan Soloway. “We are proud of what they, and our sector, have achieved.”
