SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced today it was awarded a five-year $13 million task order under the National Institute of Health IT Assessment Acquisition & Assessment Center’s (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) contract to continue providing on-site preventative, predictive, and remedial maintenance for the mainframes, peripherals, and software at two of the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) largest and most significant computing centers in West Virginia and Tennessee responsible for storing tax records and processing tax forms.

SOSi’s hardware team and maintenance engineers have ensured the 24x7x365 availability of these critical IRS systems since 2015 while meeting its response-time, downtime, and repair-time requirements.

“The IRS’s tax collection capabilities are dependent upon the constant integrity of its mainframe processing environment at the facilities we maintain,” said Julian Setian, SOSi’s President and CEO. “We are proud to continue supporting the IRS mission to provide these vital government services.”
