RESTON, VA. (July 22, 2015) — SOS International LLC (SOSi) has been awarded a prime contract by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) for Language Interpreter Services. The contract includes a base period and four option periods extending through August 2020, with a maximum amount of $80 million.
SOSi will provide all management and supervision, labor, and supplies necessary to perform interpreter services in over 300 languages and dialects to augment EOIR’s in-house staff. SOSi will support immigration court proceedings throughout all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories including Puerto Rico. EOIR currently administers fifty-nine Immigration Courts housing approximately 250 Immigration Judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Judges conduct hearings in these courts to resolve various immigration matters and approximately 300,000 matters are heard annually.
