RESTON, Va. (Aug. 9, 2016) – SOS International LLC (SOSi), a private, family-owned and operated government services integrator, today announced the appointment of Stephen Iwicki as Vice President, Intelligence Solutions Group (ISG), and the promotion of Robert Billeaud to Senior Vice President for Operations. Iwicki will assume responsibility for one of the company’s two major business areas, which grew recently with the acquisition of New World Solutions and award of a five-year, $150 million contract with the U.S. Army to support military operations in Afghanistan.
Prior to joining SOSi, Iwicki served as a Vice President in charge of a $150 million intelligence IT, O&M, and logistics business unit at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). He also served as Director of Business Strategy and Operations at SAIC/Leidos, where he led operations, marketing and business development for a collection of business units that worked across the defense and intelligence markets.
Over the course of his three-year tenure in his current position with SOSi, Billeaud doubled the size of ISG and spearheaded the acquisition and integration of northern Virginia-based New World Solutions, an intelligence contractor that specializes in providing advanced image science support to the Army, NRO and NGA. Billeaud has been with the company for over four years. He is a retired Army Special Forces and intelligence officer, who also worked for AECOM, ManTech and CACI.
Iwicki retired from military service in 2005 after a twenty-year career in the United States Army, which included tactical and strategic intelligence positions as Director, Army Intelligence Transformation and Senior Intelligence Officer, White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). His military service included operational combat experience in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as well as overseas deployments to Haiti, Somalia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Iwicki received a bachelor’s degree from Rider University and a master’s degree from National Intelligence University. He is a founding member of the WashingtonExec Intelligence Council. He serves as a member of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Atlantic Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Advisory Panel (AP) and on the Board of Directors of the Adventure Theatre and Musical Theater Center (ATMTC).
“Steve is the first outside member we’ve added to our executive team since 2013,” said Julian Setian, President and CEO, SOS International LLC. “He brings a wealth of leadership experience in the intelligence technology market, particularly among the national intelligence agencies, where we’re actively looking to grow.”
