RESTON, VA., Sept. 11, 2015 – SOS International LLC (SOSi) is pleased to announce the addition of Major General Robert Catalanotti, (US Army, Retired) as the company’s new Director of Middle East Initiatives. Major General (Ret). Catalanotti joins the leadership team as the lead executive responsible for building strategic partnerships in the Middle East.
Major General (Ret) Catalanotti recently retired from the United States Army after 34 years of service commanding both active and reserve organizations. He served most recently as Director of Strategic Exercises and Training for U.S. Central Command, Tampa, Florida where he was responsible for planning and executing training and exercises for 16 partner nations in the Middle East and Central Asia. In addition, he served as Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Interior, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and commanded Taji Base, the largest Iraqi military base.
He holds Masters’ Degrees from the United States Army War College and Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts and both a Bachelor’s Degree and Honorary Doctorate from Assumption College, Worcester, Massachusetts. Major General (Ret) Catalanotti is a recipient of the Army Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Bronze Star and Department of State Superior Honor Award.
