Larger space will house expanded operations, accommodate continued growth
RESTON, Va. (Feb. 19) — SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced it has signed a lease to expand its Reston-based headquarters to 50,000 square feet. The addition of 21,000 square feet to the existing 29,000 square feet will consolidate SOSi’s Northern Virginia-based staff into one location and accommodate the company’s continued growth.
“With our ongoing, organic growth and the recent acquisition of New World Solutions, SOSi needs more space,” said Julian Setian, president and CEO of SOSi. “We have been active members of the business community in Fairfax County, love how Reston has been developing in recent years, and look forward to continuing to grow in the area.”
In the agreement originally negotiated with Columbia Real Estate Investment Trust, which has since sold the building, SOSi agreed to renew its current lease for 10 years.
SOSi is a member of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and currently employs more than 150 people within the National Capitol Region. Employees working currently out of satellite offices in Reston, Herndon and Fairfax will move into 1881 Campus Commons Drive when renovations are complete. SOSi will be the largest tenant at 1881 Campus Commons Drive with space for more than 200 employees.
