SOSi resurrected aging and underused infrastructure on behalf of the Government of Iraq to provide logistical support to U.S. and Coalition Forces at Camp Taji. Located in the immediate proximity of Baghdad, Camp Taji housed more than 4,000 U.S., NATO, and Coalition National Forces, members of multiple DoD agencies, and numerous Foreign Military Sales contractors.
The U.S. Government relied on SOSi to manage the daily operations and maintenance of the base’s 1.9 million square feet of facility space, as well as its fleet of tactical and non-tactical vehicles. We provided comprehensive base operations and maintenance support services to include power generation and distribution, animal boarding, water production, food services, billeting, wastewater removal, fire/emergency, medical, network and satellite communications, and laundry. We established and managed a reliable and resilient supply chain to obtain and distribute all necessary supplies. We also facilitated various physical fitness and morale-building programs at Camp Taji while hosting thousands of visitors each year.
