SOSi Senior Recruiter, William Sharpsteen, was named a 2021 Employee Veteran Leadership Award recipient by G.I. Jobs. The award recognizes full-time veteran employees who make meaningful contributions to their organization, fellow veterans and employees, and their community. He was one of 15 veterans recognized for demonstrating leadership, teamwork, discipline, determination, adaptability, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude. Bill retired from the Army in 2008 as a Sergeant Major. Today, he supports SOSi in recruiting for several U.S. Army intelligence and services programs operating overseas. He has also made valuable contributions supporting SOSi recruiting initiatives in Afghanistan and helping to staff positions supporting the organization’s internal business development function. GI Jobs praised Bill for continually communicating with Army Soldier for Life offices to provide feedback and career opportunities to service members preparing to transition from active duty.
