The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the membership and trade association for the technology community in Northern Virginia, today announced the finalists for the second annual NVTC Capital Cyber Awards. These awards represent the most innovative companies and individuals that contribute to the region’s cybersecurity industry.
“Cybersecurity professionals are on the front lines protecting our nation’s most critical assets and data from persistent online threats,” said Jennifer Taylor, president and CEO, NVTC. “The companies and individuals selected as finalists of the NVTC Capital Cyber Awards are the leading innovators in their field. It’s an honor to recognize the exemplary work they do to protect our personal information and national security.”
With continuous innovation and technological advances happening around the globe, the need for robust security and system maintenance grows at an exponential rate. The companies and individuals represented in the NVTC Capital Cyber Award finalists are working to solve the tech industry’s most important cybersecurity-related problems across both public and private sectors.
This year’s program attracted more than 60 nominations from various organizations from the National Capital region. The 27 finalists, spanning startups, Fortune 500 organizations, government agencies and individuals, demonstrate the diversity of this region’s dynamic technology ecosystem.
