COVID-19 Office Safety

Learn about the steps we are taking to protect your health when working in or visiting a SOSi workspace

As a business, we did not have much time to adapt and prepare for the impact COVID-19 would have on our operations. Yet over the past several months, we collectively rolled up our sleeves to adjust on the fly. This is what our corporate mantra of “Challenge Accepted” is all about.

Everything we’ve done – and continue to do – from procuring antibody tests and personal protective equipment (PPE) to adopting new policies and office protocols, has been for the purpose of protecting the health of our employees, partners, and customers. The list below describes the measures we have taken to provide a safe work environment.

Your Safety is Our Priority

Staggered Work Shifts

To limit the number of people entering and exiting the building at the same time, we are staggering employee work hours. In addition, employees who are comfortable returning to work have been asked to work alternate shifts to reduce overall building occupancy.

Antibody Testing

Tests have been made available to help SOSi employees determine whether they have developed antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The antibody tests are being offered to employees free of charge on a voluntary basis.

Temperature Checks

All employees and guests must have their temperatures checked using one of our touch-free lobby kiosks or hand-held thermometers prior to entering company workspaces. Individuals with temperature readings of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed to enter a SOSi facility.

Use of Face Masks

Employees and guests are required to wear face masks when inside public areas of a SOSi facility (elevators, stairwells, hallways, copy rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms). Face masks will be provided to those who need them.

Personal Protective Equipment

Cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment, including masks, goggles, microfiber cloths, latex gloves, and hand sanitizer have been distributed to SOSi facilities, employees, and independent contractors around the world.

Social Distancing

Employees are expected to practice social distancing when moving around a SOSi facility. We are asking everyone who enters our workspaces to maintain a six-foot buffer between themselves and others at all times.

Elevators

No more than two people are allowed to occupy an elevator in any SOSi facility at the same time. Employees are encouraged to take turns entering and exiting elevators. Hand sanitizer and wipes are available for use after touching elevator buttons.

Conference Rooms

The seating layouts of all SOSi conference rooms have been reconfigured to maintain six feet of social distancing. Disinfectant cloths are available to clean seating areas following each meeting. Group meetings will be conducted virtually, whenever possible.

Electrostatic Disinfecting

SOSi has acquired electrostatic sprayers to deep clean and disinfect rooms quickly and effectively at our convenience. The machines emit tiny charged droplets of disinfectant into the air. The charged droplets adhere effectively to surfaces and can decontaminate even small crevices or cracks.
