SOSi resurrected the infrastructure on a portion of Camp Taji, on behalf of the Government of Iraq, to provide logistical support to U.S. and Coalition Forces. The U.S. Government relied on SOSi to manage the daily operations and maintenance of the base’s 1.9 million square feet of facility space, as well as its fleet of tactical and non-tactical vehicles. We provided comprehensive base operations and maintenance support services to include power generation and distribution, animal boarding, water production, food services, billeting, wastewater removal, fire/emergency, medical, and laundry. We established and managed a reliable supply chain to obtain and distribute all necessary supplies. We also facilitated various physical fitness and morale-building programs at Camp Taji while hosting thousands of visitors each year. The base housed U.S., NATO, and Iraqi National Forces, members of multiple DoD agencies, and numerous Foreign Military Sales contractors.
