Supporting US and Coalition military forces providing training to the Iraqi Military and US contractors supporting FMS programs for the Iraqi Government

Overview

After US Military withdrawal from Iraq in 2012 and the resurgence of ISIS in Syria and Northern Iraq, SOSi provided commercial support to ongoing FMS programs and life support services for over 2000 US and Coalition military forces from 2013-2020 at Camp Taji and Besmaya bases. SOSi medical services supported 1000 contractors and augmented US Military Role 2 Enhanced capabilities under periods of crisis. SOSi’s medical clinic provided routine care, health surveillance, ambulance services, disaster planning and exercises, and lifesaving for accidents and enemy indirect fire attacks.

Results

SOSi provided essential medical care to 1000 US and international support contractors over seven years resulting in no contractor deaths or serious injury and facilitating the US and Coalition military training efforts for Iraqi Army forces and their successful fight against ISIS.
