Retired Army Brig. Gen. Steven M. Anderson Joins SOSi as Vice President, Logistics Services for Mission Solutions Group
RESTON, Va. (September 19, 2018) – SOS International, LLC (SOSi) today announced that Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson, USA, Ret. has been hired as Vice President, Logistics Services for SOSi’s Mission Solutions Group (MSG). In this position, he will play a critical role in helping scale SOSi’s global logistics capabilities across its operations on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of State (DoS) and other key agencies.
Mr. Anderson’s 31-year career in the U.S. Army includes high profile logistics command in Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Germany, Hawaii and the Pentagon. He served as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics for the Multi-National Force in Iraq and was the chief logistics architect of the Five Brigade Surge of 2007. His final active duty assignment was Director of Army Logistics Operations and Readiness in the Pentagon.
Mr. Anderson served most recently as the Chief Growth Officer for Sallyport Global. Prior to this, he spent two years as the Afghanistan Country Manager for Fluor Corporation, where he led a workforce of 6,500 employees that provided nearly all logistics support to U.S. and NATO forces on eleven operating bases throughout Northern Afghanistan.

Mr. Anderson is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He received a Master’s degree in operations research from the Naval Postgraduate School.
